Dear Architects shared with us their residential project, the 4 Plans House, in Santa Catarina NL. Project description from the architects (Google-translated from Spanish) after the break.
With the dual purpose of ensuring the views of the mountains and give the areas to be a contact with the outside inside, a bucket is placed 10 meters 10 meters behind the edge of the street, raising the logic of dividing the land into 4 strips of 5 by 10 meters, splitting allows to incorporate the garden and the void that articulates the relationship between the volume of the house and the access volume.

At ground level, in alignment with the main entrance and 15 meters from the boundary with the outside, a material change in floor announces access to the private: a passage that frames the linear ascent to the hall of the secondary bedrooms, from where one discovers the space of greater height, 7.5 meters clear to allow a ray of light that draws the path of the sun moving through the walls that confine the tower. This vacuum gets a step that poses a continual ascent towards the master bedroom.

The character that gives outside the house is attributed to the sobriety of its 4 levels which are distinguished by the change in height and disposition of their openings, revealing the relationship established with each room outwards in search of a possible horizon of a specific lighting. This volume is complemented sobriety succession of light and shade to complete the tacit sense of living.
