The design of Faroe Islands Education Center was porposed by BIG with the help of Fuglark, Lemming & Eriksson, Sámal Johannesen, Martin E. Leo and KJ Elrad. The project is located on a hillside, 100 m above the sea level with a panoramic view overlooking the sea, mountains and harbor of Torshavn. When completed it will be the largest educational center in the country’s history covering three institution including Faroe Islands Gymnasium, Torshavns Technical College and Business College of Faroe Islands with total of 1,200 students and 300 teachers.
