Sensorial exhibition where the visitor is part of the analysis of nine scents that refer to concepts belonging to our global context. At IED Madrid Exhibition Cabinet until April 6, 2011.

En Esencia shows invisible creations, detectable through a specific sensorial organ, trying to respond through the design to the following question: How do we show a smell?

To do this, two areas have been projected to stimulate the sensorial perception and the descriptive anlysis: The Pure Perception Room & The Lab Room.

We start the visit by The Pure Perception Room, illuminated by a LEDs horizon line, where nine boxes hangs from the ceiling at the same level, materializing the presence of the perfumes as if it were an invasion whose interior contains the scent. Introducing the head inside each box, perfume invade the visitors.

The Lab Room is the analytical and descriptive space of the exhibition, that introduces visitors into a creative laboratory. Here, the smells are shown through the concepts that have inspired each perfume and the formulas that fashion design students have developed.
