The use of grey stucco materiality gives the structure a raw, mineral appearance, evoking the texture and character of a climbing block.

The asymmetrical shape of Blok and its irregularly arranged openings mimic climbing holds, guiding both the eye and movement along the façade. These openings are not only aesthetically striking but serve a functional purpose, creating a dynamic façade that enhances the climbing experience. Inside, the structure continues this theme by offering a variety of sheltered and heated spaces, fostering a sense of continuity between interior and exterior environments.

Function and Space Planning

Blok’s square plan maximizes both comfort and functionality. On the ground floor, climbers can engage in their sport within purpose-built climbing walls, while a spa offers a tranquil space for relaxation. Outdoor areas provide protection from the elements and privacy, while offering ample space to enjoy the surrounding natural beauty.

The upper floors are designed to accommodate social interaction and leisure. A spacious terrace serves as a hub for communal cooking and dining, all while allowing occupants to fully immerse themselves in the forested landscape. Wood cladding throughout the interior provides a warm, organic contrast to the rugged exterior, creating a cohesive and inviting living space.
