Story of Apartment Spreebogen Berlin by BERLINRODEO:
The apartment, designed by for a young art collectors family, is located in Berlin Tiergarten by the river Spree. Faced with challenge of transforming an older apartment into a contemporary space is difficult enough, but the practice also had to take into account the client’s need for plenty of space to accommodate an art collection. The results showcase a perfect balance of respecting the wilhelminian-era structure whilst simultaneously including unexpected modern luxury features such as an oversized bathtub. Contemporary taste meets traditional architecture, it can often be a beautiful marriage.
