AQUA PALLAZIO……PALACE in Water

Water, the Hub of Life.
Water is its mater and matrix, mother and medium.
Water is the most extraordinary substance!
Practically all its properties are anomalous, which enabled life to use it as building material for its machinery.
Life is water dancing to the tune of solids.

“Aqua Pallazio” has been designed with a concept of a palace on water.
The project is designed to create an iconic identity to the city, not just another residential complex with large stacks of apartments but an image which will change the city’s skyline forever. This complex will be a unique and proud addition to the city where engineering abilities and a new architectural vocabulary come together to produce the cities most sought after residential address.

The site has a large natural water pond which dominates the otherwise flat terrain. The entire project is designed as a wave, embodying the free flowing nature of water. The Stilt + 14 towers are so arranged on the master plan so as to create a flow of open spaces right from one end of the site to the other end of the site, connected by landscape spaces and water bodies.

The pond on the site is the focal point and acts as a fulcrum on the site attracting all the residents of the towers to it. The club house is located on the pond giving a feel of a floating land mass on water. The roof of the club house is a green roof which reduces the heat entering the club house and provides thermal insulation to reduce the dependency on air conditioning.

The buildings have a wave like appearance with its bands which give a curvilinear transgression to the entire façade. The waves are flowing in and out of the building without any sharp deviations or obstructions to the visual balance of the façade.

The buildings are planned to have a mix of 2bhk, 3bhk and 4bhk apartments. The apartments are well ventilated and have enough light all throughout the day, thus reducing the need for artificial lights. All the rooms face the garden giving the residents beautiful views of the landscape below.
The layouts of the apartments have minimum areas lost in useless internal passages and the benefits can be seen in the sizes of the habitable rooms. All the rooms have well designed furniture layouts .

The buildings have large four floor high cut outs at different intervals within the façade of the buildings creating a break in the otherwise large mass and give visual relief to the curvilinear façade. These cut outs form large garden terraces which allow air currents travelling through the building mass, and these currents give a passive cooling effect to the entire building.

These cutouts create interesting recreational sky gardens at intervals in the buildings, which also become the focal point of vehicle free recreation and interaction zones for the users. The large central open garden forms the spine connecting the three individual masses together. It houses all the outdoor recreational facilities and play areas.

The club house is the focal point of this development. It’s located on the pond and appears to be floating on the surface. It houses the indoor activities and recreational games rooms under a large green roof. The entire project is designed as not just another residential building complex but an intelligent response to modern day living and its expectations of comfort and affordability.

The building is designed to be a housing complex set in the heart of nature with ample spaces for outdoor activities and recreation. All norms of modern green building concepts along with traditional building modules of passive cooling and channelizing air currents and cross ventilation have been incorporated to create a modern day iconic master piece “a palace in water”……AQUA PALLAZIO.
