Pannon Falap-Lemez Head Office in Biatorbágy, Hungary / by Ferdinand and Ferdinand Architects

The headoffice building designed by Ferdinánd and Ferdinánd Architects stands out from the industrial buildings of the Biatorbágy area: the way it is located is outstanding by itself, on the top of a steep hill, it is dominating the area bellow, – however its shape also brings a new “wind” which is definitely in contrast with the usual industrial objects of the neighbiurhood.

Untraditional mention to Sicily are the strengths of this project that brings a piece of the island into San Salvario district. The shop is conceived as a bright and cosy space, where quality and tastes find their proper place. Interior design is the direct consequence of a deeper reflection upon mood and colours: the agaves reference (Zabbara in Sicilian local dialect) is clear and globally used on the whole identity project.

The site is located in the east of Hokkaido. And this architecture is planning for husband and wife in flagpole site form. Surroundings this site, next house is in east side, and next house’s garage is in north side. It has no need to view surroundings with work place of iron factory in south side. And the garden of next house in the west, but I cannot predict how changing with this place. I designed with considering climate environment and surrounding context.

It’s social apartment building and part of an urban master plan by Viaplana & Piñon for L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, the Plaça Europa. Even thought the Torre is social housing tower, among the most regulated and least glamorous areas of architecture, with limited budget, we tried to make difference and hopefully managed to make it look attractive with its elegant facade and generous entrance lobby presented as a interior street crossing the building.

The office sought to explore the possibilities of adding to the tapestry as a piece of art in the urban landscape. In a unique approach, the final image was chosen from an on-line poll of various options to allow the public to decide the streetscape of their city.
