The Hillside House is a new LEED-H certified custom house just across San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge, in Mill Valley, California. Recently completed, The Hillside House has certification pending as the first LEED-H home in Marin County, and one of the first LEED-H certified homes in Northen California. The LEED for Homes rating System is the nationally recognized standard for green building administered by the US Green Building Council.

The Hillside House, designed by owner/architect Scott Lee, is a statement of what is possible in “high design and sustainability”. Scott is the majority partner at the critically acclaimed architectural firm, SB Architects in San Fransico. Scott’s wife, Tracy Lee, is the Vice President of Spa Development at luxury resort and spa developer Auberge Resorts.

McDonald Construction ad Development, Inc. (MCD), are the builders of The Hillside House. MCD are the visionaries behind the recently completed and highly regarded Margarido House Northen California’s first LEED-H Platinum custom home.
