A Building for Four Families, Nyon / Group8

A building for four families, Nyon

Project description by Group8:
Situated in a suburban town just outside of Geneva, group8 with Bernard Delacoste (CDN Architects) are working on a construction permit for a building that faces once again the problematic of coupled villa, privacy and collective space. To resolve that issue it was chosen to make at first an exoskeleton and then to fill it with several boxes corresponding to the families entities. Free from structural functions walls become room dividers adapting themselves to the specific needs of each user. The ground level fully glazed opens the spaces toward private gardens.
