Adopting the topography of the Nile valley as a concept, Zaha Hadid Architects has proposed the design of Cairo Expo City for a competition. The project is located in egypt covering a 450,000 sq m exhibition and conference complex. The complex will have 33 storeys tower as a vocal point, and includes a major conference centre, a business hotel, office block and shopping centre.
She said: “As the exhibition spaces require the greatest degree of flexibility, we wanted to ensure that all the public spaces and formal composition of Cairo Expo City relate to the surrounding Egyptian landscape.
