Mumbai Student Won The Second RIBA Norman Foster Traveling Scholarship

Sending his proposal entitled ‘The Role of Public Transport in Shaping Sustainable Humane Habitats’, finally Faizan Jawed from Mumbai crowned as the winner of second RIBA Norman Foster Traveling Scholarship. The Rizvi College of Architecture’ student will be awarded the £6,000 prize.
Norman Foster said:
“The students of today will have to deliver sustainable solutions for the future. Faizan’s proposal underlines the importance we must place on the broadest possible vision for the integration of public transport into the infrastructure of our cities. This is one of the central components for sustainability as well as for the quality of urban living. I wish him every success.”
